Personal Statement for Australian Charity- myassignmenthelp.com
Question: Discuss about thePersonal Statement for Australian Charity. Answer: I hereby wish to express my interest in pursuing a humanity course, preferably history and philosophy in your university. The two disciplines provide in-depth insight about many aspects of life that the natural sciences fail to explain. The disciplines, though independent, are interdependent in that one borrows from the other. Due to the broad perspectives encompassed by the disciplines, I believe that pursuance of the two will place me in a better position to compete favorably for the job market across the world. I am a former student of Deakin University where I pursued a Bachelor of Arts. Nonetheless, I did not complete my course due to the challenges I faced. During the first semester, I was away from the university for eight weeks due to the pressing family issues. Moreover, it even became more difficult when I could not access internet to continue studying online although time was also a limiting factor. Therefore, my frequent absence from school adversely affected my grades, another reason that resulted to school discontinuation. Although I was much focused when I joined University, my dreams were distorted and almost aborted by the challenges that were beyond my capability. However, with the consistent assistance from parents, relatives and counselor I was able to pick myself together. Thus, my desire to rejoin school was rekindled and I am ready to focus on my education. Nonetheless, I have worked for and with the Ways Fundraising for the Smith Family and Australian Charity for Children with Special Needs although for a short duration. Even though, I have gained substantial experience especially in understanding community work. While the selected disciplines directly affect the lives of people, I believe that the experience motivated my ambitions hence the decision to undertake the course. I learnt to cooperate and mingle with people with different characteristics. Consequently, I will have no problems coping with other students despite the racial, ethnic, social status, religious or cultural differences. I wish to use the knowledge to impact peoples lives. I was born in Mauritius and later migrated to Australia in the year 2007. I am currently an Australian Citizen. I have an excellent mastery of both English language and French. I am a disciplined person and ready to comply with the school rules and regulations. I am similarly devoted to achieving good grades and complete my course in the university. In concluding, it is my greatest desire to complete my studies and achieve the long desired dreams in my life. This can be realized when I am granted a chance to study the course in your university. My past experiences have build resilience in me and I believe I can make it. Moreover, my previous academic qualifications lay a good foundation for me to pursue the course of the choice. Similarly, my interest, commitment and decision have been highly influenced by working in the two areas. Also, with the good command of the major languages, I believe that it will be easy for me to study the course.
